These will boost the development of the IT sector in the country significantly Moreover, the huge development of e- commerce, optical fibre& mobile network , Indian Healthcare Information Technology business, growing popularity of social media, increase in the use of analytics and cloud computing , Digital Payment Platforms such as Paytm, MobiKwik, Oxigen and the establishment of more than 4200 tech start- ups will all contribute immensely to the growth of the IT sector in India in near future.
All these factors have opened up a most exciting and rewarding career opportunities for Indian IT professionals through out the world and many of them are occupying very high positions in number of major global IT companies. Total number of employees grew to 1.02 million cumulatively for four Indian IT majors (including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL Tech) as on December 31, 2019. Indian IT industry employed 205,000 new hires, up from the 185,000 jobs added in FY19 and had 884,000 digitally skilled talents in 2019.
